Welcome!
Chiropractic is a non-drug, holistic approach to health care. The nervous system is responsible for controlling the flow of body energy, and chiropractors recognize the relationship between structure and function. When the structure of the body is disturbed, there is interference with the body's normal movement, causing a loss of energy which may lead to many disease processes.
The nervous system can be influenced by nerve roots that exit spinal foramen at corresponding levels of the spine. Abnormal nerve signaling can cause disease. Dr. Thompson uses a series of extremity tests to detect any weaknesses which may exist, signaling disruption in nerve flow. His goal is to adjust and treat the patient so that the musculoskeletal integrity of the affected area is restored, and the body is allowed to heal to the best of its ability.
Walk-ins welcome, but appointments are appreciated. Flexible hours available.
